Samantha Glinton’s Biography

Samantha D. Glinton is the founder of Essential Spa Health and Beauty. She was born and raised on the beautiful island of Freeport, Grand Bahama. I wear many hats, as I am a wife, a mother, and last but certainly not least, a certified massage therapist.

Although she recently completed my studies at Wood Hygienic Institute, Sam has been working in the Massage industry for the past 13 years. She has found a love and passion for body work treatment through the knowledge and experience gained throughout her career. Her services offered aims to revive, relax, and restore through a gentle touch and many other massage modalities. 

Sam has garnered experience while working at both Deep Water Cay Club & North Riding Point Club. Two of the most popular Bonefish Lodges located on the eastern end of the island. All it took was one opportunity to highlight her talent and further develop a greater passion which was recognized and birthed through this very experience.

She would always express her gratitude to, the owners of the Deep Water Club. They saw her talent and encouraged her to follow her dreams; her life has not been the same ever since. Sam found a deep love for the industry which she is now pursuing full time. 

Deep Water Cay Club was where she met and gave a massage to former NBA player Clyde Drexler. Throughout her career she has had the privilege to render her services to others around the globe, whom she would have never imagine encountering. 

 As a therapist she enjoys offering her services, not only does she have the privilege to help the body into a relax state, but she gets to experience it as well. These sessions invoke a peace of mind that cannot be explained, only felt or experienced. She would often say this is “A Heaven on Earth” experience.
